    38th World Congress of Sports Medicine to be held in Dubai

    Dubai has been selected as the host city for the 38th edition of the World Congress of Sports Medicine in 2024 by the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS). The announcement follows the UAE’s successful participation in the 37th edition of the congress held in Jalisco, Mexico during September 2022, which was attended by the UAE’s National Olympic Committee (UAE NOC’s Sports Medicine Committee), led by Dr. Abdulla Al Rahoomi, Vice President of the UAE’s Medical Olympic Committee.

    38th World Congress of Sports Medicine to be held in DubaiAs part of the conference that shapes the future of the medical sports industry, the biannual sports medicine conference, which unites four continental sports medicine associations and 117 national sports medicine associations across the globe, will bring together over 1,000 medicine professionals from around the world in Dubai. Delegates will include orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, sports dietitians, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists and other leading medical industry practitioners who will discuss sports medicine best practices.
