UAE President meets German business leaders as bilateral non-oil trade hits €13.4 billion, highlighting the deepening economic integration linking European manufacturing hubs with Middle Eastern markets.

This engagement was held alongside the bilateral business forum in Munich, where government ministers and industry leaders signed 30 memoranda of understanding and commercial agreements totaling €9.66 billion. Official statements issued via the Emirates News Agency outlined that these accords target sectors poised for rapid growth, including advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, robotics, healthcare technology, and port infrastructure. UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi pointed out that the total UAE investments in Germany have increased to €34.5 billion, demonstrating robust capital flows between the two economies.

The visit also included high-level bilateral economic discussions led by Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Katherina Reiche and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
